Description
There are many paths to healing. For some, traditional talk therapy (also known as psychotherapy) is effective. For others, equine therapy, yoga or meditation can help calm the nervous system and restore balance. Somatic approaches continue to show promise—and emerging research highlights the profound impact of art as therapy in helping people process emotions, recover from trauma, and navigate depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
As a certified trauma recovery coach, I offer a unique blend of guided creative expression and client-led conversation, allowing space for emotions and stories to emerge naturally. Whether you are moving through grief, transition, or long standing wounds, we’ll work together gently— unravelling what holds you back and creating space for resilience, self-discovery, and healing. We will use art as a tool to create your way back to balance.
Areas of Focus
I specialize in working with individuals navigating:
- Betrayal Trauma
- Relational Trauma
- Emotional and Psychological Abuse
- Childhood Abandonment and Neglect
- Life Transitions (divorce, job loss, empty nest)
- Grief and Loss
Why This Matters
I believe that healing begins with connection—to yourself and to others. Trauma can leave you feeling isolated, disconnected, and overwhelmed, but recovery is possible when you are supported in a secure and caring environment.
If you struggle with fear, perfectionism, difficulty regulating the way you respond to emotional stimuli, self-sabotage, or feeling undeserving of good things in life, I am here to help. Healing begins with a safe, encouraging environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued.
My approach is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we’ll gently explore patterns, emotions, and beliefs that keep you stuck—using both conversation and creative expression. This opens the door to greater understanding, personal growth, and empowerment.
I use evidence-based practices and tools to help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, better understand your emotions, and find new ways of relating to yourself and others. Healing is not just about what you let go of—it’s about what you reclaim: your strength, self-worth, and healthy connections.
Talking alone isn’t always enough. In fact, many people struggle to express what they feel in words—especially after trauma or during life’s most tender transitions. Healing Through the Heart offers another way: a hands-on, heart-led path forward.

What We’ll Explore
Everyone’s path is different—but many of us are working through patterns, relationships, or emotional habits that keep us feeling stuck. Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or simply want to feel more grounded and connected, our work together will help you build tools for emotional resilience, creative expression, and meaningful change.
Along the way, we might explore boundaries, self-compassion, nervous system regulation, or healing relational wounds—but always at your pace, with curiosity and care.
